Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs! You know them as CFLs.

Research shows that CFLs are one of the most cost-effective ways to save energy and save money. That's somthing all of us can support!

Energy Star® qualified CFLs use about 75 percent less energy than standard incandescent bulbs while casting the same amount of light. And CFLs can last up to 10 times longer!

News:

Clallam County PUD is distributing approximately 140,000 compact fluorescent bulbs to its residential customers’ physical addresses during late February and early March. Each home will receive a package of two 13-watt CFL bulbs and three 20-watt bulbs. These bulbs will cast the same amount of light as a 60-watt, and 75-watt incandescent bulb respectively.
