PUD/First Federal Weatherization Loan Program: Eligible Measures

Electric Energy Conservation Building Improvements:

• Ceiling Insulation
• Wall Cavity Insulation (loose-fill)
• Wall Cavity Insulation (batt)
• Floor Insulation
• Blower Door Testing (with weatherization)
• Air Sealing (building envelope)
• Heating Duct Testing
• Duct Sealing/Duct Insulation
• Air to Air Heat Exchanger for Indoor Air Quality
• Window Upgrades (U-value of .30 or lower)
• Water Pipe Insulation (with weatherization)
• Insulated Exterior Doors

Electric Heating and Cooling Improvements:

• Electric Programmable Set-Back Thermostats (for Electric Heating and Cooling Systems)
• Electronic Line or Low Voltage Thermostats
• Electric Ground Source Heat Pump (Must be installed by IGSHPA installer)
• Electric Air Source Heat Pump with an HSPF of 8.5 and SEER 14 or greater

Water Heating Improvements & Appliances

• High Efficiency Electric Tank-type Water Heaters.
• Minimum energy factor required:
• 50-79 gallons: energy factor of .93 or higher
• 80+ gallons: energy factor of .91 or higher
• Pipe Insulation with weatherization (min. R-3)
• Solar Water Heating (factory manufactured)
• Electric Water Heater Heat Pumps (factory manufactured)
• Electric Demand/Point of Delivery Water Heaters
